Labour Friends of Morocco Hosts Iftar Event for Ramadan

Labour Friends of Morocco (LFM) hosted an Iftar at the Moroccan Residence to mark the occasion of the Holy month of Ramadan.

LFM were delighted to be joined by a number of Labour MPs, Peer and Councillors for the traditional Moroccan Iftar, alongside His Excellency Mr. Hakim Hajoui Ambassador of His Majesty the King of Morocco.

It was fantastic to also hear from Minister for Services, Small Businesses and Exports, Gareth Thomas MP, UK Trade Envoy to Morocco, Ben Coleman MP and the Chair of LFM Joe Powell MP during the event. Attendees discussed a range of topics, including the importance of UK-Morocco ties and trade relations.

It was a pleasure to be able to celebrate Ramadan alongside our Labour Party colleagues and we look forward to hosting further events in the future.
