About Labour Friends of Morocco
Labour Friends of Morocco (LFM) is a newly established group of Labour parliamentarians, councillors, and members dedicated to strengthening the bond between the Labour Party, the Moroccan community in the UK, and the Kingdom of Morocco. LFM is committed to deepening the relationship between the Labour Party, the Moroccan community in the UK, and Morocco by fostering enduring partnerships grounded in shared values, mutual respect, and meaningful collaboration.
LFM’s mission is to foster deeper collaboration between the UK and Morocco, with a focus on diplomacy, trade, cultural exchange, and education. LFM will advocate for joint initiatives and partnerships in renewable energy, green technology, and environmental sustainability, reflecting shared commitments to addressing the world’s pressing challenges. LFM will drive initiatives that enhance social cohesion and promote the well-being of communities in both nations. Through events and programs, LFM will foster collaboration in these key areas, inspiring mutual growth and reinforcing the historical and contemporary bonds between the two countries
By working closely with Labour MPs, councillors, and UK-Moroccan community leaders, LFM will strengthen ties between governments, communities, and cultures, ensuring that the UK-Morocco partnership becomes a beacon of cooperation and mutual respect in a rapidly changing world.
